Welcome Bev Incledon, Ph. D. (Mar 2009)
XPhase Pharmaceuticals Inc. has announced the appointment of Bev Incledon, Ph.D. as the organization's Vice President of Research and Development.
Dr Incledon, formerly the Director of Lilly Analytical Research Laboratory- Lilly Laboratory for Bioanalytical research for Eli Lilly & Company, will lead the expansion of the XPhase research and development operations as it advances the fast-growing drug pipeline on various therapeutic areas. He brings to XPhase senior leadership and strategic planning expertise from over fourteen years of pharmaceutical research and development experiences in rapid growth pharmaceutical companies.
Letter of Intent (Nov 2008)
XPhase Pharmaceuticals Inc. (XPhase) has entered into a letter of intent for clinical research of an anti-anxiety new chemical entity, coded AF-5, with the Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Science in Beijing, China (IMM). Under the terms of this agreement, XPhase will acquire the global exclusive rights, excluding China, to research, develop and market this product. XPhase plans to file an IND with the US FDA in early 2009 to initiate Phase 1 clinical trial for AF-5. IMM will retain the rights to research, develop and market AF-5 in PR China. Clinical Trial Applications for AF-5 has been approved by Chinese sFDA, and Phase 1 clinical trial is expected to initiate in early 2009 in China.
As part of the effort to coordinate global research and development activities, IMM and XPhase will grant each other reciprocal rights to share all pre-clinical and clinical studies results generated in all countries for global regulatory submissions.
